Amauri
Mr. Amauri is a Los Angeles native and attended the Art Center College of Design as an illustration major.
He has worked in the comics and animation industry while he has also taught art to children for the last 5 years.
His hobbies include cycling, anime, and making fancy coffee.
He currently lives in Monrovia and works as a comics and storyboard artist. You can catch him on the weekends riding his gravel bike in the San Gabriel mountains.

Yu
Mr. Yu studied design at the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts in China in his early years. After eight years of professional studies, he entered the Children's Publishing House as an art editor.
Edited and published a large number of book covers for children aged 0-12. The illustrations designed by Mr. Yu were published in major domestic children's magazines and won many national awards.
Many picture storybooks are still remembered by children born in the 80s and 90s. In 2011, Mr. Yu's work was selected for the Shanghai Children's Book Illustration Exhibition.
In 2013, his watercolor works were exhibited at the Shenzhen International Watercolor Biennale. Mr. Yu worked as an excellent illustrator at the Shanghai Creative Industry Association's Painting and Calligraphy Art Institute. He was also hired as a professor at Shanghai Normal University to teach sketch and color composition courses.
Mr. Yu has solid artistic skills that enable the students to have a deeper understanding of colors, lines, shapes, proportions, and other drawing foundations and systematic understanding.

Drew iwankiw
Mr.Drew is an Art Center alumni and entrepreneur with a passion for Fine Art and New Media.
He has been creating art his whole life, and has worked in pretty much every industry that needed an artist, from film and video games, to comic books, and art galler-jes to name a few.
He has worked as a professional artist and art director for the last 15 years, working extensively in the digital and immersive reality industry.
These days he works as an independent artist, teaching others how to unleash the imagination they have within, and also runs an Augmented Reality (AR) studio in his free time.

Rachel Lee
Ms. Rachel is an illustrator and designer based in Pasadena.
She graduated from Art Center College of Design receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration Design. After graduating she has worked in two different art residencies in both Maui, Hawaii, and Provincetown, Massachusetts.
She prioritizes making sure students enjoy their craft, while they improve because it is important to have passion and imagination in creating art.
Rachel is passionate about creating with joy and humor within her work. As in her children’s books, wheel ceramics, paintings, and working with her hands to create art from scrap materials.
She loves traveling, music, good food, and all her pets.

Holly Chiu
Holly Chiu is an artist who graduated from ArtCenter College of Design with a BFA in illustration. Previously, she has been an instructor in both acrylic paint and digital art classes. She also has experience in the animation industry as a Background Painter and Visual Development artist for various studios. Her art has been featured in multiple galleries such as the Warrior Painters Gallery, Chunky Gallery, and Gallery Nucleus. She has also had the pleasure of participating in artist conventions such as Lightbox Expo and CTNx.
She enjoys working with digital art, acrylic and oil painting, and sketching.
As an instructor, she wants her students to be free in creating what they love while also improving their artistic skills.
In her free time, she enjoys cafe sketching, walking her two dogs, and watching movies.

Jacquelyn Lin
Jacquelyn Lin is a graduate from ArtCenter College of Design, where she majored in Illustration and minored in Business, graduating with honors in December 2024. She has been working with college students for both Digital Illustration and Digital Design courses for over two years. Her responsibilities included lessons on Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
In addition to her teaching roles, Jacquelyn has also worked as an art instructor for children ages 5 to 9. She has taught a variety of mediums, including colored pencils, watercolor, markers, oil pastels, pen and ink, and iPad Procreate.
Beyond her professional and academic experiences, Jacquelyn was born and raised in Taiwan for 16 years, which has given her a strong understanding of both Chinese and American cultures. She is also fluent in both Mandarin and English.

Jason Lee
Jason Lee is a Los Angeles-based Visual Development designer. He graduated from Art Center College of Design with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts Degree with a focus in Illustration Entertainment Arts.
He is proficient in story driven designs, specifically in characters and props. He uses the key components of the story to bring life into his concepts and illustrations. He also enjoys working on keyframe illustrations using movies as a reference to create compelling scenes.
As an instructor, he enjoys bringing his passion for art to the students and allows them to thrive with their own craft. Seeing the students enjoy the process of art is what he strives for as well as maximizing their curiosity to improve.
During his free time, He enjoys watching shows, playing games, and rock climbing. Jason uses his personal experiences to grow and thrive in his artistic career alongside his friends and colleagues.

Eileen Park
Eileen Park is an illustrator and ceramicist based in Los Angeles. She studied Illustration Design at Art Center College of Design, where she also pursued a minor in business. Eileen focuses primarily on editorial illustrations, paintings, and ceramics. With a lifelong passion for hands-on creation, she enjoys experimenting with various themes in her artwork. She carefully selects colors that embody the mood or theme she seeks to express.
In her role as an art teacher for children and teens, Eileen prioritizes ensuring that her students find joy in the creative process, allowing them to showcase their unique perspectives. She encourages her students to explore a variety of media, helping them to amplify their creativity and embrace experimentation.
When she’s not immersed in her art, Eileen can often be found in the ceramic studio or enjoying time at cafes with her friends.

annika brookman-wang
Annika Brookman-Wang is a Rhode Island School of Design Alumna with a passion for illustration and storytelling. She graduated with honors from RISD's illustration major and now spends her time writing and drawing up new stories and designs.
Annika enjoys fantasy stories and collecting illustrated books as well as watching animation, and will happily talk and discuss the art of all three to anyone who asks about them. Her art style is flexible and she changes it to best suit the needs of the story. As an instructor, she believes in the creativity of the individual and that everyone has a unique perspective that only they can share through art. She aims to guide students into thinking and creating art from their own passions.
Beyond art, Annika enjoys hobbies such as historical costuming, dancing, and playing the violin as well as sports such as skiing. She also likes gaming in her spare time, both table top and electronic.

Joann kim
Joann Kim is an aspiring Visual Development artist in Los Angeles. She focused on Concept Design at Art Center College of Design. Joann dreams of working in the animation industry and owning a small studio dedicated to teaching children about art and design in the future. She has a background in teaching K-8 students about fine arts. In her past working experiences, she was an art teacher in afterschool programs, and she also worked at OAM Studios. Joann taught students about sketching, acrylic painting, ceramics, etc. During her teaching, she helped many kids take part in art contests. She also helped in developing a digital art curriculum for the studio.
Joann has additional experience in serving mentally challenged/disabled students. She used to participate in the summer activity camp as a Counselor and would care for and look after the students with special needs. -
Michael Gao
Born in the vibrant and culturally rich city of Beijing, Michael is a seasoned and dedicated photographer who has cultivated extensive experience within the ever-evolving landscape of the advertising industry. He skillfully blends his unique creativity with technical expertise to produce stunning and captivating imagery that resonates profoundly with diverse audiences hailing from various backgrounds and walks of life. His work reflects a deep and nuanced understanding of cultural narratives, as well as the intricate art of storytelling through the powerful and expressive medium of photography. Each of his projects showcases his unwavering commitment to pushing boundaries and evoking emotions, making each image not just visually striking but also rich in meaning and depth.

Yili
After graduating from Bunka Gakuen University Tokyo Japan, Mrs. Yili acquired a master's degree in 2013.
Inspired by the combination of traditional Chinese Art and Japanese design concepts. She did a massive study and research on shape theory which is the foundation of concept formation and any type of artwork.
Her works were exhibited at Bunkamura Box Gallery in Tokyo.
Through her 7 years of art teaching experience in the USA, Mrs. Yili created a new philosophy of art skills that applies to each student in their own way, allowing students to learn and practice, and create their own artworks according to their own needs with aesthetic appeal and creativity.
She has guided many students in winning national awards.

Zhang
Ms.Zhang is from Otis College of Art and Design. Her major is Entertainment and Game Design.
She is very good at 3D modeling, familiar with Maya and Blender software, and uses various painting software, such as Adobe Photoshop and iPad-Procreate.
She can guide students quickly into 3D modeling. She also teaches acrylic painting.
With a strong sense of color, it helps her communicate with students and offer suggestions and creative ideas.

Ms.Jin comes from the Art Center College of Design, majoring in Illustration-Entertainment Design. She is good at acrylic painting and digital drawing.
Ms. Jin has rich teaching experience and practical ability. She knows how to use a variety of painting media to create art.
In teaching, she maximizes outcomes by encouraging students to use their imaginations, while maximizing the needs and curiosity of their children.

Jeanette
Ms. Jeanette is an LA-based artist who graduated from ArtCenter College of Design with a BFA in Illustration Entertainment Arts. She grew up working at her parents' art studio, helping them teach students during her teen years until young adulthood.
Ms. Jeanette is driven by storytelling in art, specializing in visual development, story-boarding, and comics in both traditional and digital mediums. She is passionate about making sure her art is intriguing and refreshing, never wanting an environment to feel flat or a character to feel bored.
As an instructor, she wants the students to love what they make and enjoy art. She strives to teach students to be confident in their abilities and guide them in the right direction to improve and grow as young artists.
When not working on her online comic, Ms. Jeanette enjoys playing video games, having DnD sessions with her friends, and watching animated movies.
